Celebrating International day of person with disabilities
As part of its ongoing commitment to inclusion and dignity for all, Stand Together for Change (STC) proudly participated in the Sector-level celebration of the National Day of Persons with Disabilities, an event we attend every year to stand in solidarity with people with disabilities in our community.
The celebration brought together local leaders, community members, and organizations to reflect on the importance of inclusion, equal opportunities, and respect for the rights of persons with disabilities. STC actively engaged in the program, sharing messages that encouraged unity, understanding, and collective responsibility in supporting people with disabilities to live independent and fulfilling lives.
This year’s celebration was marked by a meaningful contribution from STC through the donation of crutches to individuals who had none or were using old and damaged ones. These assistive devices will greatly improve mobility, independence, and daily comfort for the beneficiaries, helping them participate more fully in community life.
we do advocacy to run our initiatives and our actions started in january 2020 we started with nothing unless the family members efforts and our professional knowledge to carry on these initiatives
